Medicarians Convention in Las Vegas

The HealthPlusLife team is back at home running the innovative health insurance and life insurance company in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but the connections they made and experiences they had at Medicarians in Las Vegas will continue to make an impact.

The premier conference, known as the “home of senior health, wealth, and AgeTech,” is an annual highlight for health insurance agencies, brokers, startups, and many more. The 2024 Medicarians Las Vegas conference was expected to draw over 2,500 attendees, including care providers, investors, distributors, and product creators.

Dalia Abate, HealthPlusLife’s Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, said the conference, which took place April 8-10 at the new Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, was a chance for payers, agencies, agents, and vendors to meet.

“It was a great experience to reconnect with previous colleagues and friends and an opportunity to network with new contacts,” Abate said.

A Look Inside the 2024 Medicarians in Las Vegas

This year’s Medicarians Las Vegas was bigger and better than ever, with more than 200 thought leaders scheduled to speak. Abate said she enjoyed many new innovations in the Exhibit Hall this year, and a puppy lounge made for a memorable and interactive networking experience.

Sessions touched on important topics in the industry, including the contract year 2025 final rule for Medicare Advantage and Part D as well as marketing considerations.

While the informative sessions and panel discussions were important for learning about new developments and issues in the field, Medicarians in Las Vegas also had opportunities to have fun and make new connections with peers and relevant industry players.

“I’m looking forward to reconnecting again next year,” Abate said.
